Privacy Policy

Athlete Scrapbook does not require an Athlete Scrapbook account. Your working library, database, imported photos and videos, generated posters, cached previews, settings, and backups are stored locally on your Windows PC unless you choose to move, export, back up, or publish them somewhere else.

There is no automatic Athlete Scrapbook cloud upload in this version.

The app can store scrapbook titles, athlete names, school or team details, notes, tags, event information, profile fields, contact fields, source URLs, media files, and exported profile content that you enter or import.

Recruiting profile exports may include the athlete, parent, or contact information you choose to include. Review exports before sharing or hosting them online.

When you capture a URL, Athlete Scrapbook may request that page to gather available metadata such as title, description, source host, date, and preview image. Some websites limit or block this metadata.

If you configure an OpenAI API key, article or pasted-text capture can send selected extracted text to OpenAI to generate an optional summary. Your API key is stored locally in the app database. You can remove it from Settings.

Export creates a static folder containing the profile page and selected assets. Export is curated publishing, not automatic backup. Anything you include in an exported folder may become public if you upload it to a hosting service or share the folder with others.
